Let's Pray For The Repose Of The Souls Of International Theater Actor Junix Inocian And Writer Ave Perez Jacob

OUR CONDOLENCES to the family of actor Junix Inocian who passed away in London, where he is now based. Junix, 64, was found lifeless in his flat. We saw Junix doing the role of the Engineer in the original production of "Miss Saigon" at Westend, which he inherited from Jonathan Pryce. Playing Kim then with him was Fil-Aussie actress Roanne Monte.

After the show, we went backstage and he agreed to have a short interview. When his stint in "Miss Saigon" ended, Junix stayed on in London and appeared in other plays, also in the movie "Mortdecai" which he did with Johnny Depp. Locally, he was last seen in the musical "Jekyll and Hyde".

Our sympathy also goes to the family of writer Ave Perez Jacob, who won the Palanca best short prize for "Guwardiya". He's well known for his stories about poverty and injustice, like his novel "Sibol ng mga Guho". Let's pray for the repose of their souls.
