TV5 And Viva Communications Join Forces In Relaunching Their Sunday Lunchtime Show As 'Happy Truck Happinas'

EXPECT BIG CHANGES and surprises in TV5’s Sunday show starting next Sunday, March 6. It will now be called “Happy Truck Happinas” and will start at 11 AM, one hour earlier than their rival lunchtime shows. Main hosts Ogie Alcasid and Janno Gibbs are very positive that with the combined stars of TV5 and Viva Communications, plus the new segments, bigger games and prizes that they’re offering, they will be able to attract more viewers now.

“All out ang support ng management kasi happy sila sa resulta ng ‘Happy Truck’,” says Ogie. “Malaki talaga ang potential ng show and we are all committed to work together harmoniously and make it really succeed as ‘Happy Truck Happinas’, so abangan nyo dahil totodo na talaga ito to make it a regular Sunday habit for our viewers.”

The other hosts and performers in the show are Derek Ramsay, Gelli de Belen, Tuesday Vargas, Empoy, Tom Taus, Kim Idol, Alwyn Uytingco, Ritz Azul, Eula Caballero, Alonzo Muhlach, Shy Carlos, Yassi Pressman, Meg Imperial, Sam Pinto, Bangs Garcia, Ella Cruz, Roxee B, Kim Molina, Monica Cuneca, the all-male barkada called YOLOL (You Only Live Once Lang) with Akihiro Blanco, Andre Muhlach (brother of Aga), VJ Marquez (youngest son of Joey), Jason Salvador (brother of Maja), Owy Posadas at Jack Reid (brother of James), and Viva’s all-girl group Sugar and Spice one of whom is Issa Pressman (sister of Yassi and ex-GF of Derrick Monasterio). They’ll all be known as the Happy Peeps Squad.

The new games are Lingo Limbo, Dummy Kong Tawa ni Kim, MY DIY (My Daddy Is Yummy) and Mutya ng Bayan (The Next Beks Factor). Other great segments are Kalye Diva, I-Peg-Peg Mo, Special Delivery, Basagan ng Brains, IQ Ay Pilipino, OJ in between, VideOK, Kantarant, Quick Ang Answer, Pik Pak Boom, Walang Hulugan and Walang Basagan ng Trip. The new beefed up “Happy Truck Happinas” is part of the thrust of the joint forces of TV5 and Viva to make the Kapatid Network one of the top TV channels in our country.
