He thanked his director, Joel Lamangan, and all his co-stars, including Ronwaldo Martin, Jim Pebanco, Tony Mabesa, Jeric Raval, Elora Espano, Shyr Valdez, Mike Lloren and Mon Confiado. The film is now being considered in film festivals abroad but he cannot reveal yet the names of these filmfests until they have the go signal. Direk Joel is now preparing their second movie together, "Angelo Lumunsod", about a stranger who arrives in a remote town in Masbate and changes the lives of the people there. Like “Bhoy Intsik”, this is once again based on a story by Direk Joel himself, this time to be scripted by Christopher Brugada who did the movie “Patikul” for him.
