Vandolph Quizon Shows His Late Dad Dolphy's Son Stealing All His Comic Scenes As Paolo Ballesteros' Rival In 'Amnesia Love'

VANDOLPH QUIZON plays a villain role in “Amnesia Love” that’s now showing in theaters. He’s in love with pretty island girl Yam Concepcion but Yam is paying more attention to an amnesiac stranger played by Paolo Ballesteros, so they become ardent rivals for Yam’s heart. Vandolph steals all the scenes he is in effortlessly, especially the "inuman" challenge he had with Paolo, showing that he’s really the son of his late dad, Comedy King Dolphy, when it comes to tickling the viewer’s funny bones.

Vandolph is also one of our current active actor-politicians as he’s now a councilor of Paranaque’s first district. The only son of Dolphy with former sexy star Alma Moreno, Vandolph grew up before our eyes as he was once also a child actor, even co-starring with the late FPJ in the action comedy, “Walang Matigas na Tinapay sa Mainit na Kape”.

He’s now 33 years old, married with two kids named Vito and Gabrielle. In a recent interview, Vandolph says he’s very faithful to his wife and their children as he wants to have a solid family life. He admitted that he doesn’t want his own kids to experience what he went through as a child.

“Everyone knows na broken family kami,” he says. “Marami akong mga kapatid pero kahit iba’t iba ang magulang namin, united naman kami. Hindi ko sinasabing mali yung ginawa ng mga magulang namin, basta pagdating sa akin, ang gusto ko, I will have an ideal family na yung mga anak ko, when they have problems, sa amin sila ng mama nila pupunta.”

So how is it being a councilor? “Masaya ako rito kasi dito mo matutulungan ang mga taong dapat tulungan. Malalaman mo ang priorities mo, kung sino ang dapat mong unahing tulungan.”
